Meet the Team: Naimah Grant

We are thrilled to welcome the latest member of the Emérique and Partners team, Naimah Grant!

Naimah has joined the team as an Associate Consultant within our Banking and Insurance Freelance team, covering the French market and making placements in niches such as compliance, risk, sustainable finance, corporate finance, and projects.

With her experience as an ex-contract recruiter in the fast-paced IT market, she is ready to guide our candidates through their placement process with ease and eagerness. Her love for challenges and natural determination give her the resilience required to find our clients the best contractors on the market, too!

Naimah has a double bachelor’s degree in languages, business and communication, making her perfectly placed to be a contract recruiter, with expertise and knowledge to advise both candidates and clients.

Naimah is getting our year off to an exciting start – read on to get to know her a little better…

🗣 Describe yourself in 3 words:
I would describe myself as ambitious, people-oriented, and passionate.

💬 What languages can you speak?
I can speak both French and English, as well as Italian (B2).

⚡ Do you have any interesting hobbies or talents?

I enjoy outdoor sports (climbing, skiing, running), yoga, travelling, and anything related to mental health and social issues.

🧲 What attracted you to Emérique & Partners?
I was initially attracted by the company culture, and how different the structure is to other similar companies within the industry, in terms of professionalism, quality of service, and credibility.

💭Why is your specialist sector interesting to you?
I like how fast-paced the contract industry is. I also find the banking/insurance industry so interesting because it is crucial to our society, and constantly evolving. The industry is in continual growth, and it is very innovative.

📖 What are you reading right now?
I am currently reading two books, the first one being People Person by Candice Carty-Williams. The second one is Three Mothers by Anna Malaika Tubbs, which tells the story of the mothers of Malcom X, Martin Luther King Jr and James Baldwin. It’s a great read!

☕ What’s your favourite way to start your day?
During the week, I always start by listening to a short, guided meditation to start the day relaxed and focused, which I recommend to anyone who is not a morning person (like me). On my days off, I like to start my day with a nice homemade breakfast in bed.
