On the 3rd and 4th of August, we hosted our annual Summer Do – an opportunity to step out of the office, regroup on strategy and strengthen our team bond!
We headed out from the office on Thursday morning, travelling to Birch, Cheshunt – set within 55 acres of nature, just 30 minutes north of London, Birch is part hotel, part members club and all parts fun!
The team arrived at Birch around 11, starting by exploring the stunning grounds and building they would be staying in. Following a lunch picnic, it was time to tap into our competitive nature and get the endorphins flowing by playing some games such as Volleyball and Table Tennis 🏓 🏐
Next on the agenda was a strategic update from Emérique on the business and our vision, followed by a delicious evening dinner. The rest of the evening and into the night was spent on some quality time together talking, drinking and playing card games – the latter being an absolute staple within the E&P team! 🃏
On Friday morning, the team fuelled up for the day ahead with a tasty breakfast, before tackling a challenging spin class together! 🚴 After checking out and enjoying lunch, the team then made the most of their free time by hanging out together, before heading to a screenprinting session where each person’s design was printed on a tote bag they could take home with them 🖌️
Sadly, it was time to head back home for the weekend – the team thoroughly enjoyed their stay at Birch and the opportunity to spend some quality time together out of the office!
