Responsibilities:

– Take responsibility for managing the technical underwriting results of dedicated global lines of business, focusing on the Property & Casualty insurance portfolio.

–  Act as the primary contact for underwriting matters in Marine/Transport and as a key liaison for various internal stakeholders.

–  Ensure comprehensive portfolio management by developing a global underwriting strategy, including a clear definition of risk appetite.

–  Drive new business opportunities and technological innovations through close collaboration with international departments, executives, and innovation units.

–  Oversee underwriting reviews and lead strategic projects and initiatives for your line of business.

–  Ensure compliance with global and local guidelines and processes to effectively mitigate risks within the Property & Casualty insurance portfolio.

Requirements:

–  Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Marine/Transport Insurance (ideally 10+)

– Strong background in Underwriting.

– openness to learn new things apart from the Marine field.

– Excellent analytical skills and strong communication-based problem-solving abilities.

– Fluency in German and Business level of English.
