Our client, a major international banking group, is looking for a Model Data Manager to join in credit Risk modelling team within the Risk Management division. This team is responsible for producing, preparing, and monitoring the data used for credit risk models, ensuring full alignment with regulatory expectations and the group’s data management standards.
You will oversee end-to-end data delivery projects supporting regulatory credit risk modelling. Your main responsibility will be to coordinate the preparation of high-quality datasets required by modellers, ensuring full compliance and consistency with the bank’s global data architecture. You will also work closely with quantitative modellers to ensure that data solutions are fully aligned with modelling expectations.
Your responsabilities :
· Functionally lead Data Engineers and Data Analysts, guiding their investigations into banking data to uncover issues and understand business requirements.
· Coordinate the preparation and delivery of analyzed datasets to modelling teams, ensuring they meet project needs.
· Plan and monitor team tasks, track progress, and escalate risks to senior management with proposed action plans when necessary.
· Act as the main point of contact for modellers, ensuring datasets are aligned with modelling expectations.
· Drive project execution from start to finish, managing priorities, timelines, and quality of deliverables.
Your profile :
– Master in Statistics, Economics, mathematics, computer science, etc.
– At least 5 years of experience in credit risk modelling, regulatory frameworks (IRB, IFRS9), or data delivery within risk functions.
– Strong understanding of banking risks and data investigation workflows.
– Experience in a banking environment is required.
– Technical skills in Python (R may also be considered).
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
