Head of Product Technology – Insurance company – Germany

Are you an Actuary with interest in software development, working on product technology and core development? Do you have experience (5+ years) in the German Life Insurance space? Interested in a managerial role?

Our client is currently looking for a Manager to head the department of Product Technology in a leading German Life Insurance company, based in Cologne.

We are looking for an Actuary with experience in Life, software and product development and leadership qualities who has programming knowledge and experience.

This role offers hybrid opportunities, and close contact with director level management.

This is a great opportunity to work in software development within a business setting, participate and lead in coding in actuarial core systems, and work on all stages of the production process.

Your profile:

At least 5 years of experience in the German Life Insurance space.

Ability to use Visual Base, C and other languages/Actuarial Softwares.

Experience as an Actuary in Life insurance in Germany.

Native or near native German.

Experience in a leadership role is preferable.

Ability to communicate with team members and push for development with focus on product, software and coding.
